‘Highs and Lows’ of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa this week : Part 2

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa's first performance for Friday's theme of Disco and Cha Cha...kick starts with Mini Mathur and Hemu doing the cha cha on the Jeetendra's famous (badminton) song ' Dhal gaya din...ho gayi shaam' from Humjoli. Mini Mathur dressed in white and red, swayed to the remix version, which tempted the ‘Jumping Jack’ Jeetuji to come on stage and dance to the song. Mini in true Jeetuji style says, "Cha cha was done first by our very own Jeetuji and our dance is a tribute to him" But the funniest thing was that even after this brilliant performance from Mini and Hemu, the judges were too miserly when it came to awarding points.
Instead, these were the comments that Mini got from the Jury. Urmila said "Mini, you are looking like a doll", Jeetendra said "Choreography wise it was much better than what we originally did in the song, beautiful and well synchronised" . Perfectionist Shiamak points out and says "Cha Cha as a dance form does not have too many lifts, I want to see more dance".The twist in the tale was that, all the jodis who performed on Cha Cha had the same lifts and jumps in their acts! So how is there a variation in points?
